Jejak Bertapak 2011 ..... Bari / Rome ..... series 3

This is my last entry for my Bari City / Rome trip. Nak posting banyak2 pun x guna gak coz I was only there for 2 days; a very long 2 days I might add. 1st day smpai, kene present paper at the local conference. Pastu malamnya dah kene g dinner (yang 4.5 jam tu.... see series 2 posting) and by d 2nd day kene wat audit.

Mujur audit dia x amek whole day, so ada ler gak masa nak jalan2 kat Bari town tu before it got dark. As any other European cities, bangunan dorang ni mmg antic2 blaka. Aq sempat ler snap snap beberapa building yg pada aq quite significant. Kat Bari ni bnyk giler theater. Orang2 kat cni kan jenis relax terlebih sudah. One good thing is that they seem to b a cultured society or community.

Overall, my Bari trip is quite pleasant. How aq wish aq brought with me more cash, baru betul kata dtg Italy.... Neway there will always b another, insyallah.

Jejak Betapak 2011 ..... Bari / Rome ..... series 2

Aq kat Bari x lama, tapi mak ai nak g sana, seksa abis. Kalau sape2 yg sakit pinggang tu, d nasihatkan jgn amek flight trus, singgah2 ler dua tiga hari kat mana2.... Flight aq dr KL ke Bari total 25 jam, transit 2 kali; once kat Dubai and second kat Rome. Tak lama, cuma 3 jam each, so x leh sngt nak p mana2, cuma sempat singgah g settle ape2 yg patut.

On d 2nd nite, aq d jemput ke majlis makan malam dgn reporter2 frm Rome. Location dia amat menarik; kat Toranto, about 2 hours drive frm Bari. Dinner tu kat one of d resort in d middle of olive orchard. Yes, U guyz heard me correct, in d middle of an olive orchard. In other words, in d middle of nowhere laaa. Hehehe.

By d time smpai, dah gelap but d weadar very nice one.Walaupun mata dah bengkak giler dek kerna jet lag, tapi aq gagahkan jugak. Dinner supposed to start at 8 pm tapi dah kul 10:30 pm, x start lagik. Perut aq dah nak mula keroncong.Since kite kat tmpat orang, so kene ikut rentak dorang ler.

Menu mengatakan ada appertizer, main course 1, main course 2 and desert. So kalau kat KL, kire cam biase2 jer ler... Finally food pun dah start kuar, tapi appertizer jer. Dah selesai appertizer, mamat and minah Italian ni sembang2 pulak. Selang lagi setengah jam baru kuar main course 1. Nak telan makanan tu x lama tapi nak tunggu next course lama giler. Last2, d whole duration of d dinner amek masa 4.5 jam. Ni kire satu culture shock ler wat aq. Dah ler 2nd main course dia...... jeng jeng jeng........ (ar U guyz ready).................

dorang serve d one meat yg aq x makan; GRILLED LAMB CHOP....... alangkah hampa nya aq coz aq mmg lapo giler. Aq x brani ler makan takut kene migrane. Masa desert smpai, aq pulun abis. Dahler time ni aq dah ngantok coz body aq still follow Malaysian time, and time tu kat M'sia dah pukul 4 pagi...... Cube korang imagine..... By d time aq smpai hotel, body aq dah give up langsung; penat campur lapo campur ngantok smua campur skali.

Lama aq x update blog. maklumler aq kan g merantau jap. Aq g Bari, Italy. Originally aq supposed to go to Milan but changed at the last minute Bari. Organisasi yg aq visit tu ada 2 opis; HQ d Bari and branch d Milan. Neway, coz dorang yg bayar sepenuhnye, so aq kire ok ajer...

Aq g x lama, 2 hari jer tapi journey dia, ya Allah ya Tuhan ku, panjang giler. Masa fly g sana, it took 25 hours with 2 transits in Dubai and Rome. Masa balik pun ekcelli sama gak cuma aq dpt lepak kat Rome 6.5 jam and kat Dubai 4 jam. Saja jer kan soh aq perabih kan duit aq. hehehehehe

Temperature kat Bari ni mmg GREAT !!! Walaupun at 17 C during d day and 11 C at nite, still, mmg very comfy sngt. Tapi ada time dia very windy; windy sngt2 smpai aq kene pegang tiang lampu, takut terbang ke Mediterranean Sea dek angin yg kencang tuuu.

Yg x bestnye, aq sorang, so x dpt ler aq snap2 bnyk (with me in d pics laaa). But pic scenery bnyk ler gak yg aq snap2.
